Choirs

The Frederick Church of the Brethren offers each person varied experiences in the joy of music. These experiences include participation in any of our many fine choirs.
  • Kindergarten Choir: Comprised of children who are 3-5 years of age.
  • Lighthouse Singers: Comprised of children who are in the first through fifth grades.
  • Temple Choir: Comprised of children and youth beginning at the sixth grade level.
  • Morning Singers: Comprised of people from a wide age group from young adults up. This group is the principal choir in leading our 8:30 service.
  • Chancel Choir: Comprised of adults and teenagers. This group is the principal choir in leading our 11:00 service.
  • Celebration Ringers: Our two adult hand-bell choirs provide musical inspiration on a regular basis at both our 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. services
  • Sonshine Chimes.  Our children’s hand-bell choir also provides musical inspiration, in a way that only kids can provide!
  • S.I.G.N, (Signing in God's Name): A signing choir, this group is open to all ages and performs worship songs in sign language.
  • Deaf Fellowship Choir: This group provides signed songs for the Deaf services.
  • Living Water Praise and Worship Team: Living Water provides music leadership for our contemporary services.
  • FCOB Instrumental Ensemble: This instrumental group accompanies hymns on the second Sunday of each month at our 8:30 a.m. service. For more information, contact Jerry Fogle at Jlfogle47@aol.com
  • FCOB Orchestra:  This instrumental group accompanies hymns and provides “special” numbers, primarily at our 11:00 a.m. service.
