	Women's Guild and Service Council The Women's Guild and Service Council has been a core ministry of our congregation for many decades. “The Guild” works on many projects that involve Bible study, serving meals, and helping various local charities. Quilting and comfort knotting are important activities for this group. Among their many projects are the Mothers and Daughters Banquet, the Fathers and Sons Banquet, the Golden Age party, funeral luncheons, and the annual Christmas Bazaar. A highlight of the year is participation in the Mid-Atlantic District Disaster Auction, held near Westminster, MD., in May. At this auction, many of the Guild’s quilts are auctioned off. In addition, the Guild staffs one of the main food booths, providing a variety of home made goodies for auction attendees.
