Discipleship at Frederick Church of the Brethren

This "state of the art" resource center offers a wide array of books and other print materials, along with various multi-media items.

Individuals are encouraged to access the center's resources for individual study, preparation for church classes or seminars, or simply for individual or group enrichment.

The center is comfortably "outfitted" with both conventional library shelving and media stations, all designed for users to freely access the rich variety of materials which the center offers.

Special features include:

Computers with internet hookups
A multi-media station (wall-mounted TV/DVD/VCR) for movies, small group studies and training sessions.

The Frederick Church of the Brethren Library/Media Center is located on first floor of the education wing, adjacent to the Assembly Room/Lighthouse area. Easy access is through the Fairview Avenue entrance to the church, down the first flight of stairs to the left, into the Assembly Room area.

The Library/Media Center is open daily from 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. for general usage. Check out privileges (i.e. when the Library/Media Center is staffed) are only available on the following days and times: Sunday: 8:00 - 12:30 p.m. / Monday 6-8 p.m. / Wednesday 5-8 p.m. / Thursday 6-8 p.m. / Saturday 4-5:38 p.m.
