Welcome to deaf fellowship

Sunday Worship Services- 9:45AM

WE ARE GLAD YOU HERE WITH US

His love. His grace. His purpose. That’s what you’ll find with the Deaf Fellowship at the Frederick Church of the Brethren. We’re a church…within a church! We are a community of believers, from the DC/MD/VA area, working together to bring God glory – using ASL!
We are a church who believes that God can change lives—that life with Jesus Christ means a second chance to experience real life both now and for eternity. The Bible tells us how that can happen, which is why we are so passionate about it! We study it, discuss it, and live by it through His grace.
If you are looking for a church home, or you’re just beginning to wonder about God, let us encourage you! Join us for worship, visit a small bible study group, check out one of our events, or just talk with some of our people. You are truly welcome here!

A NOTE FROM THE PASTOR

Inside all of us is the need for a place where others know and care—really care—about us. The Deaf Fellowship @FCOB is such a place. We’re a place that is warm and relevant to real people’s lives. A place where you know you’re welcome.
We’re a place that says “community.” Not just “Deaf community,” but new community—built on truth, relationships, and genuine love and concern for each other.  We think you’ll feel at home here—whatever your background. You won’t find people who think they have all of life’s answers or are perfect. You will find people who celebrate life’s joys, who grieve life’s disappointments, who make mistakes…and who have been forgiven by the God of creation through His Son, Jesus.
Check us out through the web site. And when you’re ready, why not join us on a Sunday. We’ll save you a seat!

DEAF MISSIONS

The Deaf Fellowship is involved in sharing the love of Jesus all over our community, our nation, and our world.
Deaf Missions is a national and international Christian mission we support financially and prayerfully. This organization, based out of Council Bluffs, Iowa, is dedicated to helping deaf people SEE Jesus Christ in sign language, so they may accept Him as their Savior and growth in Him. This mission reaches out to thousands of deaf people, as well as hearing people in the deaf community, in the United States and Canada and more than 80 other countries. Deaf Mission’s greatest resource is putting God’s Word into VISUAL media so deaf people and sign language users can grow in their faith using the language they love and understand – American Sign Language.
